WORCS: Laughlin, Nevada In the Pro motorcycle race it was Kurt Caselli all the way. Lapping the entire field of the best off road racers in the world, other than second and third place finishers Robert Naughton (Suzuki) and Mike Kiedrowski (Suzuki-Overall Series Championship Clinched) respectively. In the quad class the heavy hitters came out to do battle. Multi-time World Champion Doug Eichner got out to a lead before going over the bars with a horrendous crash. Tavis Cain, the pioneer of Quad Freestylin', took over the lead and never looked back, showing the desert racers he not only can do supermans, but can go extremely fast in the desert as well. The course was very demanding as it got rougher and rougher as the weekend went on. The pro motorcyle race was a grueling 2 hrs in length, and it was obvious who had been doing there training and who hadn't. The World Off Road Championship Series will kick off in 2002 with the first two rounds coming to Arizona. Round 1 Feb. 16-17 in Phoenix, AZ and Round 2 March 16-17 in Lake Havasu, AZ at the Crazy Horse Campground!! For Further info go to www.worcsracing.com.
