PMC
Racing: The Future is Now
After taking a four year break from off road racing, PMC Racing has announced their return to championship desert racing in the 2002 season. In the past four year the team has only competed in four events, but took home the first place trophy in two of those. A 50% winning percentage. In 2002, the 750 horsepower Class 8 Ford F-150 will mark its return to the desert with the young talent of Jim Beaver at the helm, along with veteran driver Dan Beaver backing him up. The 2002 season will start for the team at the Whiplash Parker 400, and then move on to the Best in the Desert series, along with select SCORE International races. While gaining experience in the Class 8 ranks, the young gun, Jim Beaver, is awaiting the completion of a new Ford F-150 trophy truck set to debut in the late 2003 or early 2004 season. This truck will be a cutting edge, 800 horsepower monster that is being taken off of the jig at the time of this release. Look for great things in 2002 with Owner Marion Beaver who is a hydroplane world champion and world record holder, 27 year Class 8 veteran Dan Beaver managing the team and driving some, and the talented 21 year old Jim Beaver piloting Class 8 truck. Be looking for the website www.Jim-Beaver.com in the coming months as well. PMC Racing would also like to thank their current sponsors: Goodyear Tires, RLH Communications, Parker Motor Co., Kofa Inn, Reno Metal, Auto Zone, EZ-Lube, and La Paz County Tobacco Prevention. Any new sponsorship inquiries can be made by calling toll free at 1-800-266-2291, or e-mailing us at PMCRACE@hotmail.com. Be on the look out for PMC Racing at these 2002 desert racing events.
